Happy new years!

Happy new years!!!

Our mom chased us around the house to get our collars on, she needed the right pen to write on our name tags. she got all but Sylvester. Ava could care less. Camille fought with hers for about 10 minutes then gave up.Sylvester ran under the bed where mom couldn't get him.

oh some good news two more toys were off the cat tree when mom got home this morning. one off the very top perch and one off the top of the highest house. she tossed the toys around a bit; letting us play before setting them back up. she'll check it again before work and again before bed. and report in a day or two. She did catch Camille sleeping in the lower house but she didn't stay long. (shes gunna wash Camille's bed then put it in there)

We hope everyone has something cool planned for new years. Unfortunately our mom has to work through it. so nothing is planned with us here. she might have some sparkling grape juice on her day off. her mom plans to have pizza and a movie.

If anyone throws a party save us some nip and noms. Well try and stop buy after our mom gets off work and gets home from running errands. hope everyone stays safe and tell your parents/humans to drive safe!

cat tree

lookies, our mom promised us wed that she would put up our tree and give us our gifts. so here we are...

hers the big box mom had to drag into the house and then into the linen closet. then back towards the door she drug it from.

 she sure missed not having he work provided box cutter, but made do with scissors. the first board on top is particleboard. she was about to send it right back but the other boards were more solid wood like.

wow look at all these parts. Camille checked them over and made sure everything was there.

Then Camille found the smaller house and decided it was a nice supervising spot.

at this point our mom got the first and second layers on

Sylvester stayed behind mom to avoid getting whacked.

Ava kept the little xmas tree company on the other side of the room. (mom didn't get the big one up after all)

oh and look another layer is on with Camille still supervising.

Here is the finished product with Ava on the house part. and Sylvester on the floor. sadly Camille was run out of the little house. and there are two toys dangling down.

and here's the rest of our xmas presents. to go with the tree. we have three furry balls. two catnip mice, and a blinking caterpillar. there also a collar for each of us Sylvester gets the purple one, Ava gets the pink, and Camille gets the blue and pink one. We also have name tags that say "If I am out, I am lost" on the front with our name and moms number on the back. 



mom arranged the toys on the cat tree to try and get us on it.. Camille took a mouse and played with it on the floor but so far no one seems interested. we've never had a cat tree before. so we have to get used to it.

a pressy!!

not to long ago we got a pressy for wining a contest Spitty held on his blog SpittySpeaks. well we got our prize yesterday but mom didn't let us have it till today.

Camille had to check it over, she said it had lots of interesting smells,

So I had to check them out too mom pulled out not one but two "land-octopi"

and also a nice handwritten card

Sylvester and Camille sniffed and batted them a little bit. but the one who ended up having the most fun was........

Ava!  the rest of us are wondering if its a long/medium furred cat thing (it looks purple but its brown like spittys)

Mom put one away for later, and is waiting to see who goes nuts today. Ava was having a blast but our mom is so bad with the camera.. when she snapped a pic, or recorded video it made her blurry or she wasn't doing anything interesting. it was planned... she just doesn't know it.

in other news its warming up in the next day or too and all the snow should be gone by noon today. Also our mom had a nice scare at work. a two Ltr bottle of soda fell off the top of a pallet about 5 1/2 feet and exploded when it hit the floor.. then it rocketed down the area our mom was working in. it got soda everywhere, but thankfully not on out mom nor did the bottle hit her, but it was a big mess to clean up. it sucked for the guy who dropped it, but was funny to our mom.

A white xmas!!

we waited till today to post this since we allready had two posts in one day.


Guess what??  weve had the first white Christmas we have ever seen, and the first our mom has seen in +5 years. She was kind enough to take each of us out, she held us since we dont have harnesses. she set each of us down and took us into the snow fall. Ava was content, she enjoyed looking around. Sylvester cried and cried but was curious. Camille wanted little to do with it. we were taken back inside with no misshaps and dried off. The snow's been falling hard and heavy since before 6am cst. its a wet snow so its sticking to everything. usually we get a light dry snow. anyways her are some pictures of the snow with the new camra

We are waiting for our xmas pressys sometime later today

opsse looks like we wont get to have our present today, we got even more snow today so the roads are bad again. we are gunna stay put, while she stays with her parents... they have more human food.

what our mom got for xmas.

Our mom got to open and exchange gifts with her parents Christmas eve morning.  She celebrated right after she got home from work. (her day at work was busy and stressfull but she stayed ina  good mood... she had a platefull of goodies for her first break and her lunch) And also she didnt want to wake up early on a day off.

Anyways she scored double. She usually gets only one pricy gift, and then a couple of cheap items like candy stocking stuffers. but becouse her mom was worried about the main gift not shipping on time, she got a second gift that was a bit pricy.

Our mom got both. She got a soda club. A household contraption that allows you to easily carbonate tap water and then add flavors if you so desire. the contraption itself is grey and red. she got two  1 ltr bottles that work with the unit., two co2 canisters; adds the bubbly. and a sample pack of 12 flavors, each flavor is good for only 1 bottle. and 6 regular sized assorted flavor bottles good for several bottle fulls. (our mom didn't know about this so she stocked up on some mountain dew 2 ltrs...We think there is no danger of her having caffeine withdraws.)

That was her main gift. She also got a Sony powershot Sorry its actually a Cyber-shot. (edited 12/25 3:43 am). Remember when she complained about her camera acting funny? not only was the old one taking funky pictures but the battery compartment door was broken, she had to hold it shut. Her dad  is the one that suggested a new camera. So that saved her the trouble. the new one hads a rechargable battery. and she promises npot to loose the cd or wires that came with it this time.

Shes gunna check it out. She said our gifts will be given the day after Christmas.  she wants to spend some time with her parents and relatives. and now she can take pictures and post them!!

Escape to the laptop!

Sylvester here. we managed to get to the computer allthough we suspect little blogging till after the holidays. but guess what.... we might get a white xmas this year??!?!?! that is like unheard of so we are keeping our paws crossed. that and.. um does anyone know how to get a human off a sugar high?? her parents got lotsa goodies. and i think we need to hold her back.. shes starting to act like a sticky little kid in a candy store on christmas........  what will we ever do with her...... I know... were gunna hide her xmas gift when if comes... Her mom ordered it like almost two weeks ago... it still hasent arived. knowing her mom there will be... Hades to pay if it got lost. We figured out where our gifts werehiden we can smellthe catnip but we cant actually reach them.

catsmas week

well our mom says we have about a week.. that's 6 days right? till xmas.Shes gunna have ours on xmas eve morning. since xmas day at night she will be locked into their workplace with about 15 to 20 other people.  She does not like working on that day but enjoys working in a closed store (the store is open 24 hours a day 364 days a year.

Anyways she says we wont be able to post like we want to. shes got a lot to do. Shes gotta make sure the guest room is good and plans to shampoo the carpet again. she got stuff to move and things to wrap today and tomorrow morning. shes got her parents tree up, but not ours.

shes got work for two days (mon and Tuesday) then wed off to finish up everything. work on Thursday, off on Friday, and work on Saturday, off on Sunday. its gunna be a weird week. she wished her days off could be together, but no one paid attention to the schedule and she was scheduled with everyone else to work on xmas eve (they fixed it of course). and its not helping shes getting out of work after around 8am instead of 7 like she should.

We'll post so late pictures we promised; and our xmas pictures. she plans to spend the holidays with her parents, then with us. and at some point more family.

we are just gunna spend the week bugging her, and trying to sniff out where she hid our xmas gifts. shes telling us all we got are collars, and that the cat tree is really just some human furnature.. but we saw cats on that picture!! and we saw the words cat.. and tree... i thinks she is lieing

run mom run!

During the last post I (Sylvester) was running from and chaising Camille in a all out fight for my life. Well I saw mom running too. As you know shes been sorting and packing stuff from her parents to her house. well On her way back home after loading the metal machine up with stuff she stoped to get the mail. when she did the wind caught this little card and away it flew into the neibhors yard. she hesitated then ran after it. Then she realised it was for a package she didnt notice she had on the front porch. (we had tried to wake her for it) She opened it thinking it was one of our  xmas gifts even though she says she got everything allready. It was a sample of some ziplock products from  website that mostly has cuopons. One of those be the first XXXX to respond to get a free care package. sadly its nothing we can do anything with. but she has some kitchen supplys now. We just like the little box it came in.  still is was funny watching her chaise the paper. good thing it didnt fly into the street.

yay.. just um.. how many days till xmas again?

hey don't worry Ayla and Iza, thanks for that link. our mom will prolly take a gazillion hours just to assemble it... it was hilarious to watch her take a computer desk apart. ohh new visitor! hie!. and Spitty our mom watches to many Action movies with her mom. don't know if we should be proud or embarrassed.  shes weird.

Anyways the snow melted again; well mostly. looks like another freeze coming in a day or two. Ava is trying to smoother herself under the covers and I Sylvester am trying to kill Camille before she gets me,, at the moment I think I have lost her.

or maybe not... next time kitties I gotta run.. literally!

hmmmm snow again

we just got back from visiting furfriends blogs and just had to tell on our mom. but first. we have to state that our moms digital camera has died. she took pictures of the snow at night. but when she tried to take them during the daytime both in and out of the house the camera put funny lines in the pictures that should not be there. she says its done it before so shes gunna have to hold a funeral for it and bury it in the closet with the other outdated or half working electronics.

We got more snow, but it was short lived. Our mm says she did some xmas and grocery shopping and for our tattletale..... almost fell on her butt in the parking lot at work. if she didn't have a buggy she would have fallen.

We also had fun watching her lug in a really big and heavy looking box from outside the door. then she drug it into the linen closet and wont even let us sniff it.. we saw a picture on the box and a similar but not the same picture on marks mews. the box was covered by plastic for protection against the snow so we could not see the picture to clearly. our mom just says we will have to wait....


grrr why wait?!?!?! she's all ready playing with her Nintendo DS lite (testing it she says) and that was supposed to be her xmas gift to herself!. so why do we have to wait? huh? huh?

um does anyone know of a cheap but decent camra brand/type she could look into?

news flash... its snowing again.

First sticking snowfall of the winter. Our mom was off last night so she didn't get a chance to car skate. if you live up north your Polly used to snow. but where we live we hardly ever see it and its gone when the sun hits it. we posted earlier about snow but none sticking.. well it kept snowing and it stuck. these are from her parents house shes packing again.

it snowed!!!

we had our first snowfall this morning. it rained all night, stoped then snowed after the sun came up. our mom said it was really nice seeing it on the drive home, but by the time she ot her grocerys in and found the camra it suddenly stoped and all the snow was melted becouse so little stuck. usually it snows at night then quickly melts within an hour or two of the sun comeing up. it was really pretty but not enough to make a even a little snowball.  we had fun watching from the windows. and we got a peak at some of our xmas stuff..... she got us collars.. of the horror thats like a sticky kid getting a toothbrush. what is wrong with our mom.

must behave

Must behave must behave..... yeah I'm not feeling it *Sylvester chaises Camille all over the house in a full fledged thundering herds of wrassiling elephants game.. with some hissing and loud meowing included*

we noticed several pl 's moms and dads have been good with the Christmas decor... but some haven't.. our mom is with the last group. we don't have a tree up, and neither does her parents. we were supposed to get the big tree while the parents did the small tree. but our mom just isn't feeling it. She cough a cold or its just sinuses and has been told she cant miss anymore if she wants to keep working; even though she has stayed within the allocated amount.from the way that works she cant miss a day for 6 months. she used to never miss work but she was happy with her job, and not so much now (and from what she tells us, we don't like it either). and shes let us miss out on the blogging gift exchange.

but she did say that if we are good we do get our  presents. and that she made up for last year.

but with some prodding and nagging.. she will have the trees up in time for xmas.


and sadly she didn't agree to us putting a big net on top of her metal machine to catch birds... oh well.

mom was bird hunting??!!??

um.. okay.. we as cats don't know if we should be proud.. or upset..

Mom went night hunting for green papers as usual. and she said on her way back she killed a bird..
she says it was an accident that there was no way to avoid it; that it darted and basically dive bombed into her path from nowhere...
so we are happy our mom took the opportunity to catch a bird..
but she didn't eat it..
or bring it home so we could play with it. 

She says it didn't count because it wasn't her..
 it was the scary red metal machine that got it. 

what are we going to do....
 if something happened to our crunchy and stinky goodness how would we ever stay fed if our human mom isn't a good hunter and doesn't bring the food home after she kills it. we certainly aren't going to go outside and catch birds and mice for her, she wont eat the dead bugs we give her on occasion.

Maybe we should bring more spiders to her pillow while she sleeps...

its sooo cold.. must warm up....

We hope all you kitties and goggies are staying warm. we are having issues.. it's actually 25F right now. our mom is still cold.  and the house is colder then we like. so we are all snuggled on the bed not together but with mom. and hopeing soon she gets out the electric blanket... or maybe buys a new matriss warmer. wed be more then happy to let her accidently leave it on when she gets up.

lazy lazy human

what did the human do today...... she slept later then usual, and sat in front of the moving picture box. she said something about watching sparkling vampires.. then corrected herself and said fairies. We caught a glimpse of huge wolves so i don't know what "Eclipse" has to do with that. She still hasn't gotten a tv we can watch clearly so we had to entertain ourselves by playing thundering herds of elephants again.  and shes planing to put up their little x-mas tree. they stopped putting up a big one after an embarrassing episode of her parents cats leaving a present of their own ona  gift.. and they didn't notice until after it was given to the intended recipient... who did notice; thankfully it didn't ruin the gift. oh the joys of cat ownership she says... we say what ownership? we rule and we own her!

eh i guess we beter be good or santaclaws wont bring us anything.

Rain rain go away....

its been raining like nonstop since yesturday and early this morning! our mom said she could hear it on the roof of her worky place on and off all night long. we hate rain! and mom said she had to swim home from work.. swim!!! oh the horror!!! at least she made it home okay if not a little wet. i think we will just cuddle where its warm and dry. Ava has allready gotten a head start on keeping it warm under the covers. Sylvester will be there soon to help with the spaces around the pillows. Camille is just lucky she wasent put out for the night... mom is still hissy at her for peeing on her bed yesturday.

fish.... or tree

Our mom is silly, she was dumbfounded at work. the employee(somewhat new guy) in the pet department found a empty beta bowl/cup. it had its lid secure and a little water but the fish was no where to be found.  our mom freaked out and they checked all the other beta cups to make sure none of them were playing fight club. but they were all single fish in their single bowls. they even checked to see if it was poured out on the shelf, or in a empty glass bowl. nope they never did find it. its a mystery.. but it prolly had a nice ride out of the store in someones pocket.

our mom was wondering and she has asked us, so we are asking you. she keeps walking by the fish for sale at her workplace. and she grew up with fish on and off, at one point her mom had a big tank of fish and they kept multiplying.. magic she was told. but then she was like 5.  We know a few of you kitties get to watch fish but you also get to watch birds and squirrels.

She plans to eventually get both.. but shes given us a option on our Christmas gift. a fish tank, like a 20-30 gal complete with fish. or a cat tree with three perches and two box houses on it.

for the cat tree she plans to put it beside a window, or in view of the window she plans to put in place of the old wall ac unit. either window we would get to see fevvers and nut cases.

She can guarantee birds and squirrels the rest of the year.. but not live fish. and no we wont get to eat either waaiiii!

We got our flimg-a-ma-string last tue or wed. and we love it!! moms been trying to get pics but shes been really busy. we hope to post some late ones before long. but we'll keep playing with it till then.. good thing she likes rechagable batterys... we;ll be needing them.
oh and well be surfing eveyones blogs to night who have commented on past posts, look for our comments on your blogs.

Thanks to everyone who left comments on our blogs, we'll be visiting Sunday morning or Monday morning. we like to read past posts too. Turkey was all gone, we are sad, but then again everyone should be stuffed and tired of leftovers. um our mom got lots of canned goods. and will get more tomorrow. (shes stocking the pantry to last as long as she can.)

Like we said she survived the black Friday event. but had a rough day at work cleaning up the mess in addition to her usual tasks. shes also trying to change jobs still to get away from a mean mean old lady who was in a mean mean mood today.

on a solom note if you would just send out a purr to a dog she saw on the side of the road. On her way home yesterday morning she saw what she thought was a exotic animal sitting buy the road. but from signs on the road, her first believe was true. At first she thought it was two dogs because she only caught a glimpse. sadly it was (dispite hopes it wasn't). one had been hit by a car, and pretty violently. someone had moved its body to the side of the road where the second dog was sitting up against it. they were so close mom thought it was one animal and that it was still alive. on her way home only the dead one remained. Shes really hoping and praying the other one is okay.  they were the same breed and coloring, maybe Pyrenees. there are several houses nearby so who knows if they just got loose. or worse case they were dumped at the shelter a few miles away.  our mom didn't stop because of the houses nearby and she has a bone deep fear of large dogs, but doesn't hate them which is why she got upset. so again just send a prayer that the one is okay over the rainbow bridge and that the other will finds its home or a good home, and if not it finds its buddy.

mom survived black friday!

like we said earlier our mom had to work on black friday, well she survived. She wasent able to get much of what she wanted becouse things were cleared out. thats a good thing though. and she did a little christmas shopping, but sadly we see nothing for us in the bag. oh well, its a shame there are absolutely no pet stores near her.  oh well.

We hope eveyone had a good thanksgiving and if your human chose to shop today, we hope they got everything they wanted.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy thanksgiving. We celebrated yesterday  and guess what we gots some turkey meat!! it was good and we got extra treats through the night.  We are thankful for all the toys, treats and scritches we receive. we are glad to be indoor only kitties (with an occasional escape). and are happy our food and water says full, and our beds warm.

We have plenty of catnip fresh and dried, along with oats if you don't like the other green vegies. and we have plenty of toys and beds (including the moms). litter boxes are in the washroom down the hall and first door to the left. or outside if you prefer. We have piles of leaves outside to play in and a few perches set up.

Happy Turkey-da... oh wait!

Okay okay..... so we are a day early. Our mom and her parents decided that since she is off wed night, but has to work Thursday-- the weekend. that they would celebrate early so she can enjoy the dinner with minimal sleep loss. we just have to help her wake up at 4pm which to her is like 3am would be to normal day person.


Looks like they will be getting some turkey, macaroni and cheese. mashed potatoes with peas and carrots. and some rolls. and a apple or cherry pie (what ever she found) cranberry sauce and stuffing. not a huge meal but good variety, it just her and her parents. maybe some football too. They rarely have a big get together for turkey-day.

oh and mom says we can try some turkey. they don't put much seasonings if any so we might like it.


anyways we gotta make sure the pillows are fluffed and the bed is warm. want to ensure we get some turkey!

toys

Okay we were wondering.. where do you keep your toys? are they in baskets, or on the floor, or in a box... or up where you cant get them without your human. how does your human store the ones you dont play with.? are they neatly sorted or all thrown into a box or two.


ours are scattered all over the place. about two years ago we had a basket full... but everynight the basket was emptied and toys left everywhere. so the toys slowly disapeared, and only a few stay on the floor at any given time. sometimes they end up back in the basket.. but we take care of that.. silly toys they dont belong in a basket.


Our mom is wondering as well. shes wanting to find a good storage system for our stuff. the food is taken care of, shes dedicated a lower cabnet for our foods. but wants to keep toys elswhere. shes frustrated about the toys being homeless.

Ava and camille found a blanket. Our mom found one under the bed, so she pulled it out and left it in a pile. next thing we know... First Camille sleeps on it all night long. and Ava sleeps on it when shes not in her chair. our mom doent know what to think.. its a microplush throw she got at half price. like 2 or 3 dollars. so guess you can say thats the cheapest nice kitty blanket we have had in a while.. sure beats the dollar tree baby blankets.

Turkey-day storys.

Turkey day is almost upon us, sadly our human has to work that night.. and deal with the black Friday crowd. she did that last year and found it stressful. but she says this year is supposed to be better... she gets paid to stand and guard the merchandise.. and straighten only within a couple of feet of it, but she has no clue what she will do at the last three hours of her shift.  we are hoping for some goodies.


Anyways she was thinking about what she might get to take to work for a few days after turkey day. and started reminiscing on a kitty that came before us. Actually her first kitty. Tiger; He was a smokey Persian.. I think they are called doll faced. his nose wasn't smashed in but wasn't as pointed as a typical cat. and he had papers.

they were inseparable our mom was just a kid when they got him.

Anyways every turkey day they would have a traditional dinner. while they ate their goodies. guess who got a special meal?

He got some turkey meat, and the boiled innards. and due to him getting into a cooling pumpkin pie... he got a little sliver with the crust.  I think later he even got some stuffing added to his meal.


They did this up until he stopped cleaning his plate which was a good while. into his life. and when his housemate Cleo joined she got some as well. but preferred just the turkey.

We aren't as spoiled. we just get dry crunches.. but Sylvester has been known to tear into cornbread.

Do you get to eat a special turkey-day meal with your humans? is it a traditional year after year thing?

Moment of silence

Weve noticed a few kitties went over the bridge recently. we didnt know, or visit those blogs, but we still send our condolences to their humans and friends on their loss. 

Stay-cation is over!

our mom goes back to work tonight. Shes been busy but didn't get all the way done. so shes got a few days until her "e-vic-tion"  its not a real eviction..  her parents want her completely moved (minus furniture) before turkey day so they can use the room for guests. 

so here's a summary....

Cleaning:

• 2/3rds of her bedroom plus 1/3 of what was left in the storage room.
• All the trash/unfixable items are gone or bagged for trash day.
• Everything that has been boxed is ready to be moved if not already.

Gaming:

• Shes boxed up all her video games and accessories minus the ps3 system and controller.
• As of now shes made it to Dna Sequence 6 of 9. each Dna sequence has a variable number of memory's within and she on the third. so.. that's level 6 part three 3 suppose. with three lvls to go. but loads of extra stuff to do in the game. so it will still take a while. (check past posts for the games description and trailers.)

Kittehs

• ... We've been inspecting boxes
• finding old toys..
• turning thing into toys
• running from the evil black trash bag monsters.
• getting lots of snuggle time and pettings.

To do list

• Haul all the boxes to her house and unpack or stow for later.
• Finish packing and moving.
• Vacuum and shampoo the carpet.

Shes got a week of time left and in addition to full time hunting for green papers.. her game is a bad distraction. and she will have only two days off.


So... think she will finish on time? at the least they just want her bedroom cleaned out. and clean.

Day three.

our mom says time really flies when shes off.. it might help if she didnt sleep half the day away.  Shes playing her game again but shes been good and kept us fed, warm and cuddled. shes also takeing breaks so she dosent burn out, and shes still cleaning. but not as diligently as before.
She's also mad becouse it was supost to rain all day tuesday but it was nice and sunny, she could have gotten her tv. so shes decited to do more reaserch and buy one sunday morning. that gives her time to set it up, and we will help her build the tv stand.

so far.. we have found three balls and two mice. only to loose then again.. oh well we'll find them again. Sadly our mom says that once she has them "all" gathered up shes gunna sort and purge the worn out ones. as long as its not our favorites we're okay with that becouse that means she'll take the majority of the good ones and marinate or spray them with catnip.

uh-oh shes wanting the computer. they didnt have a game guide at the store so shes useing the interwebs instead.

Day two of stay-cation

Well, yesturday mom got 1/3rd to a half of the room cleaned and packed.  seee Sylvester 1 was helping.

but i refused to look at the camra. anyways She tossed a bunch of trash and stuff she didnt want/need/or to sell. the garbage men were really happy and she scrubbed out of litterbox dispite it being cold. 

she didnt get her major purchase a tv and stand becouse its been raining since sunday.  She did get her game and is uplading/installing.. what ever it is that the ps3 does with big games. so well leave her be for now.

Stay-cation day one of five.

Its finally here. first day of moms busy planned stay-cation. Well update through the day and night as she entertains us with her funny human tasks. while at her parents.

so far shes woken up early and scared us with garbage bags but not on purpose. we just don't like them. shes been throwing stuff out, and bagging clothes. hopefully they wont get confused. and shes throwing small odds and ends into boxes as shes comes across them.

her plan today is to finish completely gutting the room of stuff minus furniture.
vacuum/ shampoo the carpet.
make her two major purchases today or later tonight. and assemble them

then as her reward shes gunna spend Tuesday night/day playing her new game.

just chilling

weve been chilling all day. its been cool but not to cold during the day so we are enjoying it while we can. moms been busy sorting/packing stuff from her parents so we have the house all to ourselves.

she was kind enough to put fresh nip on the scratcher. and freash food.

hmm, its warmed up

Our last weather realted post a few days ago said how cold it was. well.. its warmed up a littlebit. weve all been haveing fun watching the leaves fall off the trees, and squirles scurry around.  our mom sometimes brings in leaves off her shoes.. Camille keeps eating them.. the wierdo. Ava hass been sleeping under the covers sometimes, but our mom just cant get the tem right. its cold at night and warm during the day. oh well.

oh and we notced a few kitties we wondering what we won. its a string.. yes but not any string... it moves by itself! our mom is happy we won it becouse she had though about buying one a while back.  when we get it we promis to post pictures.

our human has a short staycation next week. so weve been planning ways to interupt her gametime.

its c-c-c-cold

it was oo cold last night, our mom had been keeping the house cool to save of the electric, we dont mind, but last night the temp droped really low so it felt colder then normal in the house. she felt bad, about trying to freeze us, so she brought us all back to her parents house. its cold here tooo WAAIIIIIII!!!!!


shes got more packing to do, and she's dragging out the evil dry sucky.. and wet sucky monsters out.  so at least shes spared us of those monstrocitys. shes also been busy looking for a nice tv, and tv stand, and a sofa by itself or a whole living room set. We cant wait to get our furs all over it... shes going for a dark color for that reason. her plan is to do this... Along with haveing almost all ov her stuff out.. in one week. she got some time off reserved for a video game thats comeing out on the 16th. its Assassins creed brotherhood.. so if any of your beans plan to play that on the ps3 shes looking for friends.


and shes also looseing her mind. She's trying to learn Japanese both the spoken language and writing/reading part. shes silly... she had issues with English in highschool AND college.... but did pretty good in HS with spanish (though now she cant speak it.)

weve told her she can make her own blog for that. we need a warm body to snuggle right now.

thundering elephants

what better way to rudely wake our mom, by playing thundering herds of elephants alllll night long... or well in her case all day long. Then we followed up by playing with every bell, rattly and squeaky toy we could get in the bedroom. then we emptied our litter box into the baffroom floor, so our barefoot and sleppy human almost slipped and fell. (don't worry we left our special prezzies in the box, we justt knocked out the cleanish litter.)

but don't worry we all passed out on the bed in time for our mom to get enough sleep before work that she was not zombiefied... she gets that way sometimes.. or she just gets grumpy.

Aparently I need to do a better job of teaching Sylvester.

I am sitting here like right now on the bed surfing the web. 5 minutes ago Sylvester jumped on the bed and started stareing at me... Low and behold.. he found a plastic straw.... i guess hes played with it for a while.  and he keeps dropping it by me.. but as soon as i reach to pick it up, he smacks my hand, grabs the straw and runs off with it. A minute later.. hes right back with it. hes a wierd kitty. but good at fetch.

musical bed?

I Sylvester am almost always on my bed trying hard to kick my mom over so i have more space.. sometimes im nice and lay on top of her, and other times I snuggle next to her and let her treat me like a teddy bear.

Ava and Camille are a bit tricky... Camille sleeps in her high rise or her own bed most of the time, while only getting on the bed long enough to sleep at the foot, or get pettings.

Ava has been playing musical beds. Several nights at a time she slept on the bed opposite of me, and shes slept at the foot and under the covers. She also sleeps on a computer chair.. but now shes found a nice pile of clean, well now dirty clothes. she by far is the most.. um.. undecided when it comes the sleeping spots. shes always finding some other knock or cranny.. or space she should not be in to sleep.

sad part is... our mom lets her.



oh and that happy dance was triggered by something almost as good as free money... the joys of having extra cash AFTER paying off a loan. we are just waiting for her to go baby her car.(when the weather improves) and when she does we are leaving some um... special presents on the bed. yeah..... just to make sure she knows who the real babies are!

Happy dance

huh. mom got home from work as usual.... Ava was all happy to see her and doing the hyper dance. mom played with some papers she got outta the box in the front yard... and suddenly she started doing the happy dance with Ava's Hyper dance.

I watched in shame from a distance,, Ava thought it was fun.. and Camille..was next to me. We are not sure what triggered this bout of insanity... but she did mention something about a new couch and tv after the new year? it'd be cool if we had a couch..... we don't own one at all. but the dinning table chairs make an interesting couch? errr maybe not.  oh well.

belly rubs?

How do you react to belly rubs from your human?

Sylvester stretches out into a upside down j then looks at human upside down. when satisfied either massages humans belly in return or stretches out on side then naps.

Camille, likes to rub her head on what ever surface shes on and does a squiggly worm movement with her body but staying belly up. does a head butt when satisfied.

Ava unless sound asleep and belly up.... *hiss spit, hiss grrrr, grrr runs*

cats can tell when your sick

the mom here. while i tend to get sick with sinus allergy's that's about the extent of what i catch. however last night when i got up to to to work, i felt soo weak i could barely manage to get down stairs to the kitchen (at my parents house) so of course my mom started poking to check my blood sugar which was fine and my blood pressure with was abnormally low and i appeared severely dehydrated.. while shes doing that I'm breaking out into a cold sweat.
Shadow my moms cat who tends to have nothing to do with me, had plopped herself on the table by my head and was licking on my arm. i gave her a belly rub and instead of leaving she started purring. once i got to feeling better i moved to the couch where Shadow kept me company as well, least till i started feeling somewhat normal.
when i moved back to my room after lotsa water and some food, i dosed off, every time i woke up i had all three of my kitties in the bed with me. Ava on my right side as a ball, Sylvester to the left and all stretched out so i could cuddle him. and Camille who normally only gets on the bed for scritches was beside my head lightly curled.

they kept watch over me and made me feel secure... I must admit.. i cant sleep unless I have at least one cat in the bed with me.

Ava is a wierdo.

On our moms days off from work, she likes to sleep in. Well Ava decited to sleep near her face. and for some reason Ava was both Snoreing and purring, It was really wierd sounding.. sadly it was right in moms ear. so much for sleeping late. but we all got good scritches anyways.

thanks for the purrs sent over for our moms friend and dad.  her friend is still in rough shape so send purrs when you think of it, shes got a long road of healing. as for our moms dad, we just found out that tests came back okay....... aparently his gallblatter is fine. they told him to lay off the asprin; they think its eating his stomach up. so for him the purrs worked :) thank you.

lets seee, our mom had very interesting smells on her shoes and pant legs. Aparently she locked herself outa the house, and had her cell locked in her car. she walked a mile on the side of the road to her parents house, woke them up for a ride back to her house with a key. her dad was anoyed but not mad, hes nice. he got to borrow his wifes car hehe, but his car was found to have a flat with a nail sticking outa the top. wierd.

And we are a little concered, our moms been comeing home from work mad or upset... and i think last night was the last straw, shes spoken to us about her changing her jobs, and i think she was putting in applications earlier. one is a place her friend loves working, We like the idea, its not like we will see her anymore or less, but she says she'll get more green papers so more toys and treats for both us and her... and when our mom is happy, we are happy :)

update and anouther person.

lets seee mom almost killed Ava, because as mom was sitting in her chair playing her game (Assassins Creed II) Ava jumped and hung off moms back by her claws.  mom screamed.. and well Ava isn't allowed in the bed tonight.

Moms friend is still in rough shape, however its been cleared up that she has the two broken bones, with no other fractures, and they are keepimg an eye on any possible internal injuries. internal bleeding was stop'd and shes had a large blood transfusion. she seems to be in stable condition.

We needs some prayers and purrs for our moms dad as well. he went to the doctor today, and will again tomorrow. they are trying to find out why hes having abdominal pain and think its his gallbladder. so hopefully they can figure out whats up and treat it.

need some purr power for a human friend.

Our moms been having a worry some day. she went to work as usual. minus it being busier then normal. and found out on her lunch that a good friend was in a bad car accident yesterday morning. Our mom feels kinda bad because when they worked together this lady (her name in Ginger) was always fun to talk to, and was a great listener and advice giver, she played matchmaker, then after our moms divorce she was a good councilor during and after. but because they no longer work together they hadn't been able to see each other but maybe once a month.

Anyways shes in pretty bad shape, the wreak was caused by a dump truck, and were are not sure but may have involved a third vehicle. but our friend Ginger (yup she used to visit us kitties too) has a few broken bones (hip, femur, and some fractures), and bad bumps and bruises. and severe blood loss. None of which is good because shes got a lot of health problems that can slow the healing process.  it totaled her car, and we've heard her seat-belt saved her life, otherwise she would have died. shes been in ICU for about two days now.

so if you would please purr and pray for our good friend Ginger that she can make a full recovery. and we will keep you updated.

helping to straighten.

well moms at it again, when shes not playing her video game, shes unpacking. we all helped by jumping around on the boxes in the room were not allowed in. we had fun till Camille jumped on a box and made it fall..... thank goodness it didnt fall on one of us.. or our mom. she shoes us back out  when she was finished.  she also wont let us visit blogs till wed :(

opse sorry mom.

Ava is again bugging the mom, shes picked up a game shes had, and is trying to finish it before the sequil comes out. and well she needs to be all stealthy in it, and climb buildings and such. Ava decited to get right back in her face and stratigicly block the tv screen. caused mom to get two end games. she was not happy at all. but well ava and the rest of us did get our attenchen.  so now we are gunna be nice and snuggle with her calmly.

cats are cheaper then we want them to be.

The mom sitting here, watching streamed videos online. Sylvester and camille are asleep. but Ava? with the others um preocupied she can pick any toy ball or mouse she wants, even the ring chaiser thing is free. but nooo. she has to kill the blanket im under, then diligently whack the bottle cap for the soda im sipping on, off the night stand and halfway across the room in a frantic play sesion. but nooo thats not enough.... she has to knock it under the dresser........ Oh why!!!!


and to make things worse.... sylvester has been ignoring new toys to kill the cardboard tube from the new bathmat. thank goodness they allready got tired of the boxes. or maybe I took them away to soon.'


cats are cheap, they dont know the meaning or propper spoilage unless its in the form of food.

memo to the human.

Dear mom,

please turn the heat down... we are well aware its getting cold outside and colder at night. and that unlike us beu.. beati... pretty kitties. you do not have the warmth of a full furr coat.. but please.... turn the heat down some... we are starting to roast. and poor Ava has extra fur. cant you find some more blankets.. or get your own fur?

Live strong

We are joining this movement because our human has lost both a family member and a kitty to cancer.

Our mom lost one of her close aunts a couple of years ago due to complications with a bacteria infection inside a tumor. the tumor was removed with permanent debilitating results but the infection remained and then took over that infection spread as bad as cancer.

And last is for a kitty that came before us, she scummed to mammary cancer, they thought it had been caught in time but it sadly spread to far to fast

Heres to them, and anyone else who has or has lost a loved one, human or animal, friend or family, to cancer.  it is our hope that one day all forms of cancer will be cured.

Our mom was busy doing housework early this morning. organising the cleaning supplies, washing and sorting laundry... with out any kitty's help or supervision. so when mom sat down to play some wii before bed....
 Ava decided she wanted to be petted and jumps in the moms lap... and starts head butting.. and blocking the tv with her floofy tail. poor mom was trying to both pet, and play. poor mom got a game over. so now Ava is in trouble because she also made mom into a pin cushion.  and shes still trying to get attention while mom is writing this post! gah!! oh and don't worry shes been pretty good about the food bowl.

moms working hard

jeeze mom pet us once in a while... and the food bowl is getting less the 3/4th full, so what if you have walls to paint and thing to clean.. and fix....... fill that bowl us till its overfowing.. sit down and pet us!!!

our mom wasent aware she acumlated sooo much stuff so every free moment she has shes been sorting what to sell toss or donate.  shes a busy woman. so we havent and wont really be able to post or visit blog much. jst the few we have to comment on. wish us luck on her getting done fast and us not getting lost or starved in the process.

Sylvester here. camping didnt happen till tonight, its just me, and im loveing it up. from inspecting the backside of the oven to decideing how to help the human paint. to checking every inch of the new bed top to bottom.... i'm haveing a busy night.

Sylvester here, my mom is really excited. shes hopeing that sunday night, or wed night she can sleep back at her house. since she still has some work to do, its just gunna be mee and her. yay for mom time!! and i get to help her test the new bed tooo!

defender sylvester

I'm not sure why i got kicked off the bed yesterday... the blanket was trying to kill our mom while she slept... so i defended her.. but then a sock,, still attached got into the fight, so I defeated both. and how does she thank me? i get kicked off the bed... just wait.. the next time the blankets rise up in defiance.. I'm gunna sit back. but um until that happens I'm taking applications for litter scooper's, and can openers.. thumbs are required. besides our pressies are on there way... we just need someone to answer the door.. we can open the boxes ourselves.

doggie update and silly human report

doggie is doing better, but we think she gave it to her littermate/sister.  diet and meds seem to be imrpoveing symptoms. so keep sending those purrs, we've noticed some sicky kities in our blog wanderings so we are sending purs out to them as well.


Last night our mom who having a day off was supost to sleep in, (shes a night owl like us) was woken up and left for about two hours, then came back and went back to bed. When she woke up in the wee morning hours. she told us she had to help her dad with a little emergency. He had been trying to drain the old water heater so it could be moved.... instead of water going out the spout in the bottom, it was leaking out where ever it was leaking and filling up the drain pan even faster. So they worked slowly to move a 50 gal water heater with about 40 gal still in it out to the side deck. (oh and shes been camping out at her parents place with us again, rather then staying in our/her own house)   that was a slow and tireing process. once they got it out, she mopped up the water trail and came back home.

Well aparently our curiosity is rubbing off on her, when she went to paint where the water heater was against the wall.. she um took a coat hanger and stuck it in the hole where the drain spout was.. untill it was broken off by acident during the move. and well her shoes got a little wet becouse the water spewed right out,  with big chunks of lime. so all those weeds struggling to grow under the deck got watered.  She got grossed out to, at first the water was clear and clean. then as it got to the bottom, chunks of lime poured out and the water turned a rusty color.. then the water kinda turned to a rusty soup with lime bits. we is still trying to figure out how a buncha limes got in there, maybe a failed atempt to make some limeaid?

she's expecting both a new water heater and her bed before the week is out. and she said she ordered a few things for us to keep us happy when we move back in. so we cant wait for the prezzies

doggie update

seems she had a bactrial infection, and is on a strict diet and like 4 or 5 meds. so lets hope that kicked it. still dont know the cause, vet segested we check for dead animals. we didnt find any so keeping an eye out for anything she could be getting into inside and out.

doggie prayers again, and joys in home ownership

First off just take a moment to send purrs or barks to our humans moms doggie Pepper. shes been acting sick for a few days, but shes not getting better on her own so shes got a trip to the vet. we are really hoping its just some foods changes that got her system messed up, (shes back on the original foods now) and not something more serious or something she should not have ate. Well give an update later.

our mom has been throwing fits.

1.  Aparenlty our phone went down and had to be fixed, and that costs money.
2.  The water heater that had a small leak of unidentifiable origin.. suddenly became a bigger leak. (thank goodness for the tray its sitting on) and has to be replaced.
3. The big, we can all share, king size bed.. still hasn't arrived after two weeks.

and whats worse.... shes all cranky because she hasn't slept much in two days and on top of that shes stressed from the extra bills piling up and worried about the doggie
..... can we hang out with someone else for a few days..... ???

oh the wonderfull smells

our mom, was busy this morning. she locked us in a room, and we kept hearing a loud truck, and a strange car, and her and two men.  they kept coming and leaving..... when we were let loose.... we had all this human junk to play on.. some of it smells funky...  there is dust and spiderwebs, and mice smells. our mom smelled like the stuff plus stinky human but well she insanely stood under water till those were gone. she told us we better enjoy the playground tonight because its disappearing tomorrow into the we're not allowed room..

looks like the cool smelling stuff is over, they finished cleaning out the storage unit, they being her dad and her uncle (the one tshe adopted Sylvester from) her aunt was over to, they helped our humans mom clean out the freezer. and our mom got some too. something about a diet.

anyways we apologise for not posting on blogs for a while; we still read. but our human has been busy at work, and then house renovating work. and by the time its over, she online for a little while and then passed out and it startes all over again after 8-10 hours.

we promis we'll try and whip her into shape but dont get upset if we dont sign. we do still visit.

Ava loves tape.

aparently Ava got a little...... hyped up... she ripped the tape almost clean off a box.. and then whaked it around as it dangeld... she went nuts..... doesnt she know we have plenty of toys to whack? speaking of toys.... our mom b\got a new human toy.. a laptop. we are just waiting for her to forget to feed us....

ahhh cooler now

we like these magical vents that blow cold air, its so nice to lay near one. the ac is in completely. we still get a little nervouse when it runs, not used to it. Its not a loud thing.. its just a small house, so we cant get away from it.  Speaking of noise.. our mean human is feeling better in the cool, (nothing serious but waiting on her blood test results.) and got out both the dry vacume, and the shampooer... we really need to find a way  to kill them... or hide them? SOMETHING!?

we're bored.

yup we are bored. are human is being more lazy then usual, we are a little worried she smelled like the doctors office a few days ago and has a little bruse with a puncture mark in her arm, and it wasent us that did it. anyways nothing much going on, its been really hot here so we is conseving our energy, and the ac unit should be done later today, eveything is done but the actual units getting in. so we will be soo happy.

the horrible horrible heat

we seen sooo many kitties that are finding creative ways to cool off. we like sitting near the fan or a vent... anything cooler...
At one point last summer the place our mom stayed at.. literally started roasting... take a empty but closed can.. and throw it on a open flame..  and imagine living inside that can. that's how hot it was. and because of a kitty who is no longer with us, the windows could not be opened all the way or outside he went with the window screen.   but what was nice.. we kept finding these solid but very cold chunks in our water bowl. they of course did not belong and ended up who knows where.. they kept disappearing after about 15 minutes.

Thanks to everyone that's visiting and leaving comments. we've been lurkers for a while but decided to be more active with both old and new,  we are really enjoying this, but catnip still rules over all else :)

Mom here, its not that hot where they are... we have AC, and ill have a better AC in about two days. I'll have lotsa new holes in the floor. Oh and the "hot can" they are talking about. While thankfully it seems everyone has at least some AC this summer, there was a point when we lived in a double wide.... and we had nothing but trouble with the system, we froze in the winter till it got fixed, and in fixing they messed up the cool, so when the heat started outside....we roasted for about 4 days till it got fixed.

sleepy time

My mom can sprawl out on the bed and hog the whole thing some times. she thinks its funny when i kick and push at her, but I'm just trying to make more room so I, the rightful owner of the bed and stretch out to my full length. then she has the nerve to laugh at me when i have a nap attack and plant my face flat on the bed when the rest of me is in some other direction. what? its comfy and the sheets smell nice.

watch out mom!!

I'm making plans to escape the prissen.. just long enough to catch a certain squirl. See i was watching from the window this morning from my mom's parents place.  and saw my human taking out the garbage, well the garbage cans are kept next to a storage building,  the very one the chiwawa was hideing under. Anyways to get to it you have to walk beside a decent sized and very tall sugar maple tree. Just as my human was walking under that tree,,, a squirl threw a apple down from a higher branch.... it bounced right off her. now i don't know if this squirl was trying to aim, or what. not to mention, the apple had the ripe part ate out of it. its a crab apple I think? the humans like it more for the flowers then the fruit. but still that was a mean squirl.

not much going on here,just slowly moving into the new place. its been sooo hot she hasn't been able to paint. oh well... more human time for us.

playfull 4rth

we decited to get all hyper since the boomers wouldnt let us sleep. our mom was however.  so.. we simply played some king of the hill. and later pretended that "hill" (actually our human trying to sleep) was a fun trampolen. we spend a good half hour jumping on and off the bed wrastling. when we finally settled down and had a short hour nap.. the human woke up. so we played some more.

 and the human is learning its not such a good idea to hold ava in her arms for a extended period of time. see ava loves being held and cuddled and purrs lots and lots when she is. but when she purrs lots and lots.. she drools lots and lots. so when the human finally set her down.. avas chest furs, and the humans arm were coved in drool.

Happy 4th!!

hope everyone has a safe, happy anf fun 4th of july weekend!! we is gunna sneak some barbeQ from our human, and go find a quiet place away from the boomies to sleep it off.  stay safe everyone!!

Stinky shoes...

Camille is kinda funnt when it comes to the humans shoes. as soon as they are kicked off and shes satisfied with her share of welcome home attenchen.. she checks moms shoes all over inside and out. she tells us there are allways new and interesting smells. I, Sylvester could care lesss. those shoes make a safe place to hide my toys and... if placed to close to my scratching post.... they are fun to attack..... just done leave your head in one too long....

Goodbye little Rocky

Sadly he didnt make it, he was given emergency care yesturday morning and perked up some. but he when to the rainbow bridge sometime after noon. my mom put him on the bed with her to comfort him, the last thing he did was raise his head up to have it rubbed and took a nap he never woke from, about an hour or less later he was gone. he gave us a good 14 years of joy so he will be forever missed. thank you to anyone who prayed for him.

the mom here, and while i know we only have two readers it seems to this blog, please say a pray for my moms dog named Rocky. i haven't mentioned him much since I'm not his human in the least bit.

however hes gotten into bad shape. First off hes a tiny toy poodle boy, black fur with ageing grey. hes 14 years old and was otherwise healthy. he was neutered yesterday to help ease a health problem male dogs sometime get in old age. (yeah i know that's late but my mom kept high hopes for puppies that never came.)    and he had his teeth cleaned in the process (third time in his life). Sadly when they cleaned his teeth they pulled several without notifying my parents (they are furious).

while his front end and back end hurt, hes also got a persistent cough (from having a tube shoved carelessly down his throat.) he didn't have before this, and hes always had a bad back from a bad disk (more damage could cause paralasis). so basically his front end, back end, and back are hurting him to the point that he wont move, he wont eat or drink.  even when hand fed, and force fed it just kinda falls out his mouth. my mom had to take him back to the vet to get shot forms of his antibiotics and pain meds.

if you would say a quick prayer and keep him in your minds, hes a very sweet dog that wants nothing more then to be on my mom, or under her feet. and hes very vocal and active when he feels good. we are all feeling distraught and upset over what should have been two minor procedures. that are now threatening his life.

update on the doggie

sadlt... her parents decited to keep the doggie....... oh well good think our human really isent a doggie person. the little thing is a girl chiwawa, about 4 pounds. shes been vet checked and profesionally groomed, and aparently a perm resident. our humans paretns started worrys about what kinda home she;d end up in soo they are keeping her, the vet figures she is about 3 to 8 years.. an closer to the 8. but shes well behaved and for the most part housebroken. the vet also said it was possibly a racoon after her and that it could have easily killed her. so we are glad he crys were heard. sadly.. our human is also contibuting to helping the little doggy cope, and the little doggie oddly isent afraid of us at all. we'll be okay till our human drives the dog around in the car after putting dresses on it... when it comes to that can we hang out with someone for a few days?? we dont think we can deal with that kinda embarisment.
