update

our moms dad is back home till further tests can be done. and mom has banished us from he computer for a while

Prayers please

First of we are sorry about not posting, commenting etc. Our mom has been really busy she finally got her old room at her parents house 95.3% cleared out, and has been busy with work, and trying to get things unpacked. she still has a whole room full of boxes to go through at our house. and she's been busy writing.

however she has had what she called the worst Day in a  while. Her uncle was supposed to come and visit, sleeping in moms old bedroom aka the guestroom. and was gunna take our moms mom to a mini vacation out of state, so our mom spent the majority of her stay-cation cleaning, and packing and then unpacking, so make sure her room was cleaned out as close to 100% as she had time to.

Well that got done and the visitors were supposed to come Friday night. so our mom has been staying with us. and she also became a bit of a early bird, as opposed to a late sleeper due to working late.

The bad day started when mom woke up 3 whole hours before she intended to, so she got 5 hours of sleep. in addition to that, she went to work a whole hour earlier then she was supposed to, and they would not let her clock in so she had to sit it out. then in the middle of what became a busy day thanks to labor day. Her mom finds her at work and gives the bad news. the visitors and vacation were canceled.. but that's not the bad part.

they were canceled because our moms dad went to the hospital. and hes spent the night in ICU. so if you would just make some silent prayers that they find out what is wrong and fix it. our mom stayed at work and may or may not be working depending on what is going on.

some more tests will be run this morning so we will find out then. so far previous tests have been okay.

Happy 4th of July everyone, weve allready heard a round of boomies but expect more tonight, our mom is also abandoning us for several hours. oh well hope eveyone has a good time and gets some ham!

Ava Update

okay we are orry for the late update, out mom kept wakeing up every few minutes so she was catching up on sleep and we are unable to open the laptop. We still dont know where Ava was hideing, but she came out and snuggled up to mom while mom was asleep. so mom just went with it and finally got some rest.

oh crap!!!

um were having a bit of a emergency here....... it seems Ava is MIA!!!. Our mom was at work when some ppl came to get some stuff., and after her mom and dad went in and out a few times..... while they swear Ava was not let outside that they know of.. we havent been able to find her anywhere.  Me Sylvester and Camille were locked up safely. but Ava hide before she could be locked up. our mom has put a blanket outside with some water, and shes been trying to keep an eye out. both in and out of the house. We really hope she is just in deep hideing.  so keep your fingers crossed, our mom is gunna stay up as long as she can, since Ava does know what outside is hopefully shes just in the back yard. or hanging around the house just out of sight.

lazy mom

yup, we were promised a few posts during our moms stay cation, and what did she do.. neglected her duties all together. we don't see her improving any. so we will just go with it and smother her in her sleep tonight. maybe that will get her moving mreohehehehehe.

hmmmm... our human is bad, she shampood the carpet before painting...  washed some clothes then disapeared to her parents to catch up on a movie channel series on a channel she does not get. but hey... she has clean clothes and towels.

and um she had informed us that we will not be allowed on the new furnature for a while grrrrr. and that she will make sure our claws are nice and short and dull. grrrrr again.

yay! were kinda back

our mom has been neglecting to post for us for a while now mainly because of work. then she took a stay cation that will last till next Friday. and guess what..... the first two days were spent away from us!! oh the nerve!  Wednesday she had to go to the ppl doctor about a sinus infection that is clearing up nicely. then she got grocery's... did she buy us anything? ehh.... dry food. Then yesterday they had to take a trip to pick up a relative from the hospital two towns over and drop her off at her house, and on the way home guess what..... mom had been putting something off for months and months.... She bought a new electric stove, (coil burners) and a fridge. her old stove burns everything it eats, and the fridge had been making a terrible racket and does not keep food cold like it should. (thankfully its practically empty). But that's not all, she went to another store and gots a new sofa, with a matching love seat.. and a somewhat matching recliner. shes been using two plastic lawn chairs and a kitchen table for seating. the furniture comes on Tuesday, the appliances come mid June.

we are soo excited, we're gunna steal the camera and take some embarrassing photos of our living room before and after. because she needs to hurry up and paint the ceiling and get the walls primed. shell paint the walls after the furniture is in.. odd yes but she wants to get the color right. and she needs to shampoo the carpet. oh and paint the kitchen at some point to.  but as long as she shampoos the carpet and paints the ceiling 100% we think she is good.

stormy weather.

our prayers go out to those who were affected by the tornadoes. thankfully no one we knew personally was hurt, but there was a related death of our nieces family on her moms side(not a blood relative of our mom) so send your prayers out please to all the victims. Our mom has been busy, many ppl have been coming to the store she works at for food and other necessity's so they have been busy stocking the shelves night after night.

As far as the storms went, our mom grabbed us all up and took us to her parents house, they knew it would be bad. she actually slept through most of it till the power went out, then she watched the window like a hawk. we all stayed under the bed, the thunderbooms were horrible.

anyways she said at times the rain was so hard she could only see for a few feet. and the wind was scary, it changed directions three times. they had little bits of hail, but further down about a 2 or three miles down they had close to golf ball sized hail. lots of tree limbs were blown around, and one house not far from ours had a tree fall on the house's front covered porch. it also took out a nearby tree, and snagged the power lines.

the power was out for 8 hours due to a direct hit on the power grid or power station the entire county was out for 8 hours or more.  and thankfully she didn't have to work, her shift worked for about 3 hours to save as much cold foods as they could before going home. the storms first hit at about 5:00am wed morning, had a few breaks and were finally over at  about 8pm wed night. because the power was out during the worst, they didn't know how bad it was until morning.

oh and they could have gone swimming in the yard.... in areas that have never puddled. thankfully it went down.

there was a small tornado that hit just outside of the main part of our town, it damaged a house or two and took out trees but it didn't kill anyone thankfully. a few ppl saw rotation try to start in the clouds but it quickly dispersed.

we will be offline for a little while, out mom is trying to change shifts and get a lot of summer stuffs done. so stay safe and have a good time.

wet and rainy

not much going on here,  its been wet and raining for like two weeks now.. and cool, in the low 50's F. Just when mom thought she could switch to the AC.... she woke up freezing and turned the heat on. its been on ever since.

Ava has been logging more under the blanket time.  while the rest of us have been hogging the windows hoping for a little sunlight and some warm sunbeams.

oh and mom... you need to mow again.... and you might wanna use some textered pain on the frount steps... maybe then you wouldnt have sliped and fell (she had set some bags on the porch and was heading for more before comeing in)  on your butt so hard you screamed on the way down; and then cried like a baby... yeah.. we heard and saw. we had been sitting in the windows waiting for you to come home. and no... we will not feel sorry for you no mater how badly you are brusied or limping. we dont pay the bills so suck it up.. oh and we are outa dried catnip... and Camille got a couple of toys stuck under the stove; you need to get those out.

sending purs to Japan.

we are sending purrs to everyone in japan and those who have loved ones over there. we are purring for humans and critters. so many bad things have been happening that we have no control or warning for.  our mom has a special respect for that country and its ppl. we all have a sad.

EPPPPP wasp!!!!

sadly mom was to busy trying to kill and run then to take pictures. she came home this morning to find a huge red wasp flying around the living room with three kittys intently watching and trying to get to it. so she ran around screaming with a fly swatter and finally got it and tossed it outside. it was fun entertainemnt. none of us got stung that she can tell. and she wasent stung either. shes been checking to make sure more didnt get inside. and so far so good. Just us and a ladybug or two.

We had a nice warm spell up untill sat, anouther rain system came through and brought temps down all over. She figures the wasp came out for the warm air.. then got cold and found a way into our warmer house. (yup we still have heat on)

our mom says thank you for the birhtday wishes. She had her cake late at night, and got a jewelry box. she is still being picky on the "coolbox" she wants and she needs a new "hotbox" the coolbox is her true bday gift.

We have been behaving. or the most part. and we apologise for her lack of helping us post but also comment, but we still visit your blogs. Shes been getting stuff out of storage and helping with spring cleaning her parents house.

She randomly spends the night at her parents house and brings me. Sylvester with her. Monday morning she was gunna pack me up in the ptu so I could help with the spring cleaning. but... I ran and hid. there was no way I was gunna take a ride in the metal monster of my free will. so she left me. then we had a thunderstorm with rain and wind, even spurred three tornadoes well north of us. we watched the rain going sideways across the windows and watched leaves and tree limbs fly though the air.. then after the wind we had thunder so we all hid.

Tuesday morning she came back and caught me off guard, so I ended up in the ptu. I didn't mind I was happy to see my mom and even curled up in her lap. Im not the lap cat.

maybe when things get settled down she will help us more.

Today is our moms birthday.. and after the failed attempt to give Ava away, mom has forgiven us.. Ava not so much.  mom has a staycation this week but has been verry busy. We did manage to watch a few eps of firefly, and Prince of Persia on blue ray. she got a nice tv a week ago but wanted something new to watch. we've even helping her clean some. dusting mostly.  unfoortunatly she needs to take her giant metal machine-monster to the fix it place later this week. and she cant find her birthday cake or presents so she is bummed.

but we are all happy!

What is this funny smelling thing in the livingroom.. its glass.... and bare.. why are you putting water in it? why does it smell like fish??



Yup.. its a fish tank. I was idily talking with a co-worker, a much older gentleman about fish. He upgraded from a 10 gal to a 20 gal tank and asked me if i wanted to buy the old tank. I got it for 10 bucks. he included the used gravel with some extra, the pump/filter. and a heater. sooo i'm getting it set up.  ill need some decorations though.  and i'll post a picture once i get it set up and pick the fish.

mom... I can smell the shrimp on your breath and a hint of tuna.. why did we not get any?



Because you guys try to kill me when I open a can of Vienna sausage.... I'm not opening a can of tuna anywhere near you!!


 mom is no fun at all. anyways we've been hearing nothing but snow this and snow that... thankfully we haven't seen much since the freak snow we had. and if we get any later in the week it wont be much.  those who are getting pounded... stay warm and safe, both you and your human(s)

so... mom... just because I wake you up while we're sleeping does not mean you can wake me up while I'm dreaming. So what if I was using your arm as a body pillow, so what if I started growling and twitching while I slept. The giant mouse was getting away and I had to improvise.. and you know what.. you woke me up moving my pillow your arm just as I was about to catch my giant mouse. Effectively canceling any hope for victory. So next time you are drooling in your sleep... don't be surprised if I sneeze in your face, or poke your eye with my paw. fair is fair.


Oh and no its not a gizzy quily although one or two or three would be nice. Its something mom is buying from a co-worker who upgraded. so its yet to be seen if we will get it.

huh little bit of snow.

well it snowd a little bit but didnt amount to much of anything and there was a whole comotion about "oh no what if the power goes out,, what if i run out of food"  our mom wishes she had that luxury, it be rain, shine, snow, ice, or tornado she has to get to work.. at least untill may something. she really needs a better job. its getting harder to keep her happy lately.

oh and about wht we are getting, its not a cat tree we got one for xmas. so we are good there.

WOW will the cold ever end...

our mom keps telling us that we have snow on the way  we had snow thursday but it went away.

oh mom is doing better, shes not eating to good but shesz gzetting over it. her boss let her leave the last two days she worked. so that helped.

oh and the surprise we might get later? nope its not a kitty or a puppy.... its not anything with four.. or even two legs and it does not have fur or skin.

Our mom is feeling a little better must be all the purs she got. She still had to go to work but after pointing out to her manager that she is still contagious  and after he kept his distance all night, i mean he politely backed away from her if she got to close. if she had been in a good mood she would have entertained herself and annoyed him even more. She got to leave an hour early but stooped to talk to a friend for about 10 minutes who got sick just two days before mom did. they had about the same symptoms but her friend caught it in time for better medicine.  our mom is on antibiotics so she wont get something nasty and she got some cough medicine that she likes because it settles her tummy and makes her sleep.  oh and this week is a hour cutting week so if things go as planned (but they never do) she might be able to leave early a little more often.


Um we have some good news.. welll um.. we dont know if its good or not.... but mom says we may have a nice surprise coming in the next few weeks.. and i dont think its the snow a day clear a day snow a day forecast for the week. shes also made it clear its not catnip infused.

purrs for our mom

our mom came home Sunday morning with a migraine she barely took some aspirin and kept sitting down before she could make it to the bed. one she got on the bed she didn't move for a whole 23 hours!! we stayed on her trying to keep her comfortable but she felt really ot and she kept shivering. shes doing a little better, shes stayed out of work and she has a Dr's apt this morning. so hopefully they can fix her right up

oh she came back from the doctors and she has the flu with a fever of 104. she got upset because she was guna make arraignments to take a short leave of absence from work till she wasn't contagious anymore. but they wont let her. the flu unless ii hospitalizes her is not deemed serous enough by there standards  to warrant more then a thee day absence. he job really does suck. She to late to take a antiviril but she has antibiotics to prevent a respritory infection. he mom is being kind enough to get the RX's and some juices and such.

just a warning to you if you shop at walmart..... bring hand sanitizer. she got the bug from co-workers.


all of our snow and icicles have melted off we've had rain on and off all week. thats about it.

not much to report. its been cold and we are staying warm. our mom saw our visitor kittie, she freaked becouse she almost got it ran over but it was okay. it was more concerned about getting away from her, then the car is ran infrount of. aparently mom didnt notice it when she went to get the mail till she walked over to get back in her car and it was standing there. we're wondering if we might get a new roomie, but all of the strays they tame and get vet checked. dont come back. (they alll have feline AIDS and the bad side effects). so shes trying not to get to attached.

We are hopeing mom's parents dont get impailed. they have a freakishly large iceicle hanging off the roof right under the door. its a two story house so its gunna fall hard.  mom offered to throw rocks at it. but becouse she cant garentee she wont break a window they didnt go for that. itll prolly fall today its supost to get up to 45 degrees F.

oh and the fishie tent Sylvester was in on the last post... actually it wasent on the bed to start with, it was on the floor by the bed but no one wanted to use it. so she put it on the bed actually for Ava's use. and Sylvester claimed it. he sleeps in it on ocasion and camille has used it. the bed is so big mom figured why not leave it. shes dosent roll that far when she sleeps.

its still cold.

its been almost a week now since the snow fell and its still there... normally its only around for a few hours.. a day at the most. but i hear it will warm up later. we keep getting spitting snow. but its gunna rain on monday so it should all be gone by then. in other news.....

I found this really nice place to sleep during the cold.

and Ava may look cute but shes actually a venus hand trap...... you have been warned.

still snowy!

Well Sylvester here im back with mom at her parents house. yesturday morning after the salt truckmade a pass she decited to pack me and her laptop off and come to her parents house becouse her stove is acting up. she left Ava and Camille there, with tons of food, a full water fountain unplugged. and water dripping from two facets. one is in the tub the other a sink. she turned the heat up and locked the doors. I was in the back seat so i couldnt see what was happeneding but i could feel the car moveing forword.. stopping suddenly and moveing back.. it did this about three times before it kept going forword. then it stoped again i asume at the end of the drive way.. then the car started roaring and makeing a horrible sound before it lurched forword and turned. after that it went slow and the ride was bumpy in parts. then after a while it turned again and the bumpyness increased. then it started backing up and going forword makeing that horrible sound over and over again before it finnally stoped and i was taken inside.

well i spent the night keeping the bed warm while my mom went to work.  heard the horrible sound again as the car left. and I was inside the house. anyways she said the car did that again when she got to work and changed her mind on where to part, it did it again when she tried to get out of her parking spot. and that the road felt slick in spots. the main road again was okay. then when she pulled into the side street where her parents live, th car hung up again and when she gassed it, she said it fishtailed... yum why didnt she bring me a fishtail.. i like fish. but she managed to park it with little trouble.

she said its snowing. the cold stuff was supost to come yesturday but didnt. instead its here today. she says if we get more snow or if it ices over, then shell stay home. she didnt like the drive home at all.


hope eveyone else is doing okay. ill try ad get her to make visits later.

oh its snowing again.

Our mom is normally asleep right now at 11:46pm our time. but i walked across the laptop and made it come on so the light woke her up. she checked the weather becouse they were calliong for 4-6 inches of the cold white stuff. well she noticed it was snowing by the weather so she looked outside. yup its snowing...  shell go out later when its not so late for pictures. but so far she trapped in her house with us. the main road is again white (at least we live on a main road) the rocky riveway is white.. the meatal machine is white... the ground is white.. even the frund and ide porches are white. she thinks this might be the normal snow.. last snow was cold and wet and sticky. but they usually have dry snow, snow that blows around into drifts and is imposible to make snowmen or snowballs from. so far there is about a 2 inches on her car. we are all glad she didnt have to go to work tonight its a usual day off, or she would have been driving in it. (like we said, she cant miss any more come blizzard or ice she has to make it to work)

our mom took some pictures earlier, and she took some about an hour ago. more will be posted when the sun comes up before she unburrys her car and finds the driveway and the ditches on either side at the end of it.  We did find out why the main road is still white, aparently the road crews decited to take the night off so they can clear the roads all day today and tuesday. we are supost to get some freezing rain or sleet, then tonight it will turn back to snow.

mom give us back the laptop!!

looks like our mom has gotten into the mood for writting again. she grew up writing short stories and now she trying to write a book. so far shes not finished one. but we can allways hope. but becouse of this.. she wont let us play on the computer! WHY MOMMA WHY!!!!!

Ava and camille have warmed up to the cattree. AVA goes nuts and has fallen off a few times.. she just jumps right back on it. shes worse then a floofy kitten.Sylvester just uses it as a rise to get into the window. hope everyone is having a good time.

we survived.

our mom survived working new years eve and day. We survived not having her around.

Shes finally off and has a traditional new years dinner with ham and cabbage; and thankfully she has some black eyed peas; for tonight when she wakes up. yeah we know that should be her first meal. oh well. shes even gunna have crescent rolls and sparkling grape juice in a wine glass. then we are gunna help her sort and place all these grocery's shes been buying. she got a limited time discount applied to food purchases soo.. shes got about 6 to 7 months worth of basic canned and boxed food stuffs. and this last trip was the biggest since today was the last day.

 she even got us dental care treats in two flavors... we keep finding them on the tree and mixed in our dry foods. Speaking of our kitty tree.... when she got home this morning Ava and Camille were on it. and later Ava got sooo happy mom was home she went nuts on the tree climbing the posts and rolling around. batting one on the pompoms and playing with a mouse. mom just wishes she had her camera in hand but when she left to get it the hyper spurt was gone.

oh and Ava has a dumpster diving doppelganger. mom freaked out because it was in our driveway. she was afraid Ava got out somehow. but na it wasn't her. we don't know if its a stray or if it has a home our mom wont let us talk to it.
